Primary Enterprise and Financial Education

Young Enterprise Trust offers a suite of innovative and integrated primary enterprise and financial education programmes, resources, and competitions for students from Years 1-8.

The Primary Enterprise Programme (PrEP), PrEP Express, Enterprise 4 Kids and Community Enterprise programmes provide authentic contexts for students to practise and enrich their enterprise and financial literacy skills. The Trust’s primary enterprise programmes provide flexible options for schools:

  • PrEP Express- one week enterprise  programme
  • Enterprise 4 Kids- one term enterprise programme
  • PrEP -  two to  four term enterprise programme

Teachers are supported in implementing the PrEP, PrEP Express and Enterprise 4 Kids programmes via professional development workshops. These are held in Term 1 in the main regions, and will be offered at other times of the year (depending on demand).  For an overview of the PrEP Workshop- click here. Teachers can register online here.

The PrEP Express and Enterprise 4 Kids Programmes do not require teachers to attend a workshop. The materials for these programmes are explicit and teachers will be able to deliver the programmes without workshop support.

Schools that register for any of the Trust’s primary enterprise programmes have access to Teachers’ Manuals (pdf file) and a range of useful tools and resources, free to download from the Young Enterprise Trust Resource Centre

You can register for the Primary Enterprise and Financial Education Programmes online now.
