Qualification Information

  • For the YE Certificate Course students must pass the Exam and Course Requirements.

NCEA credit inclusion

The following Young Enterprise assessment tools and qualifications are available for credit inclusion to NCEA.

  • YE Certificate - level 3, 24 credit equivalents
  • YE Exam - level 3, 14 credit equivalents
  • YE Course Requirements - level 3, 10 credit equivalents

These three qualifications can all be acquired separately and counted towards NCEA in different years.  For example, a student can participate in the Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme in 2009, pass the YE Exam and fulfil the YE Course requirements in that year, and count the YE Course Requirements for NCEA in 2009 and the YE Exam for NCEA in 2010.

Credit exclusions apply to the YE Course Requirements.

To view the Credit Exclusion list, please find it under Course Requirements on the left hand column.
